Rooted Fitness is for women in their 30s and 40s who are ready to feel strong, confident, and connected to their bodies—whether you’re starting your fitness journey for the first time or picking it back up after time away. I know how intimidating it can feel to begin (or begin again), which is why Rooted Fitness is built on support, encouragement, and zero judgment. We’ll take it one step at a time—together.
No crowded gyms, no pressure. I’ll meet you wherever you are—at home, at the park, or wherever works best for your life. We’ll build strength, energy, and confidence in a way that feels good for you. You don’t have to be fit to get started. You just have to start. And I’ll be with you every step of the way!

Perfect for women who are new to fitness or starting again, my groups are intentionally kept small—just 4–6 participants—so you get the attention you need without feeling lost in the crowd.
Each workout is thoughtfully designed to meet you where you are, with modifications and guidance from me. You’ll gain strength, build confidence, and stay motivated alongside a supportive group of women who are on similar journeys.

Hi I’m Laura Castaing, the owner of Rooted Fitness! I am a Certified Personal Trainer and Certified Life Coach who is passionate about helping women realize their strength from the beginning. Working with me means you will be heard, coached and provided a tailored plan that aligns with YOUR personal journey to becoming confident and strong in your own body. I will encourage you and root for you every step of the way! I am LGBTQ+ friendly and BIPOC supportive. Everyone deserves a safe space to move their bodies.
My Story
I have struggled with disordered eating since I was a teenager. It wasn’t until my 20’s that I started to heal my relationship with food. I wasn’t happy in my body, and not just because of my weight gain. Discovering fitness honestly saved my life. Now my passion is to help other women fall in love with themselves and with movement, to realize they have strength, to help them take up space and create change that keeps them kicking ass into their 90’s.
